Sun Apr 1, 2001 10:00 AM Henry Coe State Park Wildflower Hike

It's wildflower season! Set your clock ahead an hour (yes, it's that day), and let's go look at the flowers at Henry Coe State Park before they fade. No particular route in mind; we can probably find a decent variety of flowers in 6 miles or so, though if it turns out to be an ambitious group, a longer hike is an option. The terrain is fairly hilly. We'll miss the spotted owl hunt, but who wants to get up that early anyway? Bring: water, lunch, and carpool money. Meet at carpool point #3.
Foo. Nobody else showed up, and I don't really feel like driving all the way down there by myself.

Directions to LPSS carpool point #3 (Santa Clara County parking lot): Corner of 1st and Hedding, San Jose. Exit 101 or 880 onto 1st Street south in San Jose. Turn right at Hedding, and right again into the parking lot. Don't be too worried about the "no public parking" signs; they don't seem to apply on weekends.

Sorry, you've missed this one, and there are no future instances on the schedule yet.
