Let's go for a hike at Pogonip, that wedge of open space between UC Santa Cruz and Henry Cowell! It's fairly easy terrain, mostly wooded, with bridges at all the creek crossings. We'll pass the old lime kiln, some historic buildings, and a small goldfish pond. This will be about a 5-mile hike, with maybe a couple of hundred feet of elevation gain; if people are feeling ambitious, we can add another mile or so in extra side loops.
Bring lunch, water, sensible hiking footwear, and carpool money.

Directions to LPSS carpool point #2 (Los Gatos Public Parking Lot): Exit 17 onto Saratoga Ave (Highway 9) west in Los Gatos. Go past first light (University), then take the first right into the free public parking lot. Meet near the Saratoga Ave end of the lot.
