Who's up for a loosely-structured hike around Wilder Ranch, out by Santa Cruz? The general plan is to find a combination of trails that add up to 7 miles or so (out of the 34 miles of trails in the park), with easy to moderate hills and some good views. We'll also take a look at the historic farm area. This is meant to be a scouting and sightseeing trip, though we'll also get a bit of exercise. Bring water, lunch, layers (in case the weather is cooler at the coast), and carpool money. Meet at carpool point #2.
Directions to LPSS carpool point #2 (Los Gatos Public Parking Lot): Exit 17 onto Saratoga Ave (Highway 9) west in Los Gatos. Go past first light (University), then take the first right into the free public parking lot. Meet near the Saratoga Ave end of the lot.
