End the week with a brisk hike in the hills! We'll cover about 5 miles, mostly wooded, with about 1000 feet elevation gain; alas, owing to the short days, we won't have time to stop for a picnic.
Bring reasonably sturdy hiking footwear, water, and perhaps a flashlight and an extra layer in case it gets cold and/or dark.
