Sun Apr 29, 2001 8:00 AM Tidepooling at Fitzgerald Marine Reserve
(Loma Prieta Sierra Singles:

Time and tide wait for no man, and the low tide (-1.2 feet!) is right around 9:20 this morning! Let's gather in the early morning light, and head out to the beach to explore among the rocks while the tide is out. After the tide comes back in, we'll look for lunch in Half Moon Bay, then head home with the afternoon still ahead of us. There'll be the option of stopping at a fish market on the way home, so consider bringing an ice chest. Bring water and sunscreen, layers in case it gets cool, nonslip footwear that will survive getting wet, carpool and lunch money, and maybe a camera. Meet at carpool point #7.
The weather forecast is favorable.

Directions to LPSS carpool point #7 (Edgewood / 280 Park 'N Ride): Exit 280 onto Edgewood Road east in Redwood City. The lot is next to the freeway.

Sorry, you've missed this one, and there are no future instances on the schedule yet.
