Set your alarm clock and come for a hike at Palo Alto's Arastradero Preserve! About 4 miles, moderately brisk pace, some hills. Parrots welcome (the BCFMO will be there; well-behaved dogs OK too). Bring water and sensible footwear. Heavy rain cancels; light rain means Tinga stays home. Directions: Meet bright and early at the preserve's parking lot. To get there, exit 280 onto Page Mill Road and go west (away from town). Continue about Œ mile and turn right onto Arastradero Rd. Go about ½ mile and look for the parking lot on the right.
