This little preserve has pleasant trails (only one steep one) and may still have some wildflowers in addition to the resident peacocks. We may hope that it's also less of a madhouse than nearby Rancho San Antonio on a spring evening! We'll cover about 5 miles at a fairly brisk pace. Dress for the weather, and bring water, as usual. Parking at Picchetti is limited; please don't drive directly there. Meet at carpool point #8.
Directions to LPSS carpool point #8 (Homestead Square in Cupertino): Exit 280 onto Saratoga-Sunnyvale Rd (De Anza Blvd) towards Sunnyvale (north). First left on Homestead. Shopping center is on left side. Pass RiteAid and the PW Market, and continue to the north end of the shopping center. Park along the Homestead side, near Carl's Jr.
