Let's escape the summer heat and go for a nice relaxing walk out by the coast! It's about 6-7 miles, mostly on sand; expect to see pelicans and harbor seals (but probably no elephant seals this time of year). Getting an early start lets us lounge around the beach, and still get back before the traffic gets bad. Bring: sun protection, an extra layer or two (just in case), comfortable walking shoes that can get sandy and/or wet, lunch, and water. Meet at carpool point #6.
