Enjoy last summer's upstream explorations of the San Lorenzo River?

This early-spring event follows the path of the hatchlings from Felton down to Santa Cruz.
The river should be flowing briskly this time of year, so we should be able to float most of the way, with just the occasional portage. The rocky section between the Garden of Eden and the Rincon Fire Road is especially exciting.
You'll need to bring your own fiberglass hot tub, with all openings sealed so it'll float; also, lunch, water, sunscreen, life jacket, crash helmet, and proof of medical insurance, as well as money for carpool and train fare back from the Boardwalk.
Meet at carpool point #2.
This one didn't make it.
Directions to LPSS carpool point #2 (Los Gatos Public Parking Lot): Exit 17 onto Saratoga Ave (Highway 9) west in Los Gatos. Go past first light (University), then take the first right into the free public parking lot. Meet near the Saratoga Ave end of the lot.
