This 12.5 mile hike is a great way to spend the day among the woods and viewpoints.
While the mileage may seem intimidating, the actual hike is not. After we ascend to our lunch viewpoint (+1,200 ft.), the remainder of the hike is either level or downhill. Quite a relaxing hike for a conversation. Bring water, lunch, something to sit on, layered clothing, and sturdy footwear.
Carpooling is encouraged. Rain cancels. Meet at carpool point #6.
